5 Easy Makeup Tips That Will Make Your Face Look Thin Instantly | Makeup Tips | Parlour in Delhi, Salon in Lajpat Nagar | Malviya Nagar | Dwarka

Girls with round or fuller face often want to know how they can make their face look slimmer. The answer is with the help of makeup. With the right makeup technique, you can effectively make your chubby face look slender.

So, here are the important makeup tips that you should keep in mind if you want to camouflage your round face.

#1. Play with the eyes

  • It is important to make your eyes stand out. Highlight them with black eyeliner, dark eye shadow and mascara.
  • Start with the eyeliner. Give your eyes a soft smudgy look, instead of a thin and precise line. This will make your eyes look bigger and attractive, drawing the attention away from your face.
  • While applying the eye shadow, make sure that the shade suits your complexion and compliments your dress. Use more shimmering shades on the brow line. In the inner half of the crease, opt for a slightly darker shade. Lastly, apply the darkest shade at the outer corner of your eye.
  • The different shades should merge properly; else it will give a patchy look to your eyes.
  • Make your lashes look thicker and longer with a few coats of mascara.

#2. Shape your eyebrows

  • Give a proper shape to your eyebrows. Well-groomed eyebrows can make your face look lean and slender. For those with round faces, it is ideal to keep an arch slightly higher, directly over the outer part of the eye pupil.
  • Girls with round or fuller face often want to know how they can make their face look slimmer. The answer is with the help of makeup. With the right makeup technique, you can effectively make your chubby face look slender.
  • So, here are the important makeup tips that you should keep in mind if you want to camouflage your round face.

#3. Blusher essential

  • The main thing which should be kept in mind while using blusher is the way of applying its strokes. A good blusher not only makes your face appear toned and sharp but also shows off the beauty points of your face.
  • A pink or peach blusher suits almost every skin tone.
  • The strokes should conceal the fullness of your face. Always apply the blush using firm and brisk strokes, in a sweeping motion.
  • Never apply blush on the apple of your cheeks in a circular motion, as this will only highlight the roundness of your face.
  • The best trick to hide the roundness of your face is to apply the brush directly under the cheekbones and blend them all the way into your temples.
  • After applying the blush, if you feel like adding more drama to your look, then you can blend a highlighter on the top of your cheekbones in soft sweeping motions. This would add a slight edge to your features as well.
  • Give a makeover to your lips with the help of lip liner.
  • If you have thin lips then make them voluminous with the help of the liner. Thin lips can make your face look round.
  • Plump up your lips by applying the liner on the lower lip. Do not line the upper lip; else the lips will look too full.

#4. Lip trick

  • Go for glossy nude colours as they make your lips look natural and fuller. If you have a fairer complexion, you can choose pink or peach lip colours. But, it is best to stay clear of all bright shades.
  • Another good way to add volume to your lips is to apply a shimmery lip gloss in the middle of your lower lip, over your neutral shade lip colour.

#5. Darker foundation
  • Since you have to make your round face appear more oval, it is important to draw the attention away from the sides of your face.
  • After moisturising your face, apply an even layer of dark-coloured foundation on your face and neck.
  • Use a darker shade of the foundation in the hollow of your cheeks. This would give a slimmer and slender appearance to your face.

How to take care of your Oily Hair

Oily hair is a common complaint among teenagers. Because of excess sebum production our hair is oily. This leaves the hair greasy and unattractive.

If you have oily hair, it is essential to wash your hair on a daily basis. This is for the reason that oily hair has a tendency to accumulate dirt as compared to other hair types.

For oily hair do not use conditioners use only shampoos and make sure while choosing a shampoos, it must not contain conditioner in it. Such kind of shampoo is available easily in the market and is cheap compared to shampoos with conditioners.

f you think that you need a conditioner, and then use a conditioner which is very mild. Apply the conditioner only at the tips and in the middle do not apply at the roots and scalp and take care that you rinse it completely. Do not select products, which have silicone, oils, or lanolin.

Massaging the hair is essential for oily hair. Instead of applying lotions or oils, you can use a toning lotion (which removes dead cells) to massage oily hair with regular brushing. This helps hair growth. A regular massage habit is necessary. Avoid applying oil to the hair as possible.

You can also try the following remedies:

Mix 4 tablespoons of lemon juice with 1 cup water and apply to your hair for 15 min and rinse with warm water.

Mix 1/4 cup of cider vinegar with a basin of water and apply to your hair for 15 min and rinse with warm water.

Try to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and eat fresh fruits and vegetables to keep your hydrated.

These problems can be reduced if spa treatment is taken. It helps in conditioning the scalp, circulates blood and gives relaxation. Some of the benefits of hair spa treatment are being listed below.

Deep conditioner

Make use of a deep conditioner weekly is a superb method to keep one’s hair healthy and also repair any styling damage. This product not only makes the hair feel silky, but it also makes it smell great!

When you are applying a deep conditioner, the length of our hair will establish how much of the product you’re going to need to use.  In addition, ensure that you comb it through when in the shower, giving attention to those areas which require the most help, like those dead ends.

Leave the deep conditioner on for some minutes and then rinse for that shiny, gorgeous looking hair. You can repeat this weekly for the best results.

Skin Care Tips for Monsoon

While the rains haven't made an appearance yet, the harsh summer has now given way to humid and sticky days. This is very bad news for your skin, as dust and dirt can now settle on your face owing to all the stickiness. Here's what you should do to ensure complete cleansing that will leave your skin fresh and dewy:

1. No matter how tired you are at the end of the day, always use a makeup remover or a face cleanser to clean your skin. Even if you don't wear makeup, the skin is still going to be dirty due to the daytime exposure.

2. Use lemon juice diluted with water to wash your face. This not only lightens your tan but also keeps stickiness at bay.

3. Wear good quality makeup. Your makeup will get ruined due to the humidity in the air. Ensure that you keep it safe, dry and unexposed to pollution.

4. Monsoon is a season for all kinds of infections — specially eyes and skin due to the exposure to dirty rainwater and humidity. Avoid wearing tight clothes that stick to your body, wear dry-fit fabric instead.

Eating your way to A Healthy Hair

You may want to ask; What does your stomach have to do with your hair? Well, almost everything. The guy who said that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder should have included the stomach of the subject!

You are what you eat; it is as simple as that. There are types of food that will give your hair a major boost, unbelievably, and here is a list:

Generally, your hair needs three things: Proteins, vitamins and Minerals. Human hair, being made of amino acids, need protein for its growth.

Zinc and Iron are crucial for hair growth. Vitamins promote growth through enhanced blood circulation. Vitamins B-complex, E and C are all-essential

Water! Unless you do not consider water as food. Apart from being the universal solvent in your system that carries all nutrients to the required parts of the body, water is also a detoxifier and a moisturizer. Drink plenty of water for your hair to grow thick, shiny, and healthy.

Healthy hair growth needs lots of Iron, Zinc, and Vitamin B. Red meat, especially cooked beef, has plenty of this.

You must like fish. Your hair needs Essential Fatty Acids to grow healthy. Fish has lots of it. Fresh fish, dried fish, fried fish, any fish is good enough, but salmon is the best.

In case you are a vegetarian, then have plenty of almonds in your diet. Besides reducing cholesterol, almonds contain lots of nutrients needed for hair growth, like minerals and vitamins.

Fresh fruits, especially of the citrus family are highly critical. Oranges, tangerines, and lemons have lots of Vitamin C, which works together with iron to form collagen, a vital component of human hair.

Milk is another rich source of nutrients not just for the whole body but for the growing hair as well. Milk is a complete meal, containing minerals (especially Zinc & Iron), proteins, and vitamins. In this regard, cow’s milk is the best.

Your boy in general needs plenty of Vitamin B6 and Zinc. Chicken-peas can be a great source, apart from enriching your body with high quality plant proteins. Soybeans are also in this class. These two food types should particularly interest vegetarians and vegans.

Another source of Iron is the oats. The good thing is that eating oats gives your body Magnesium, Phosphorus and Potassium as well. You can add whole wheat to the mix to obtain Silica, which though not a required mineral in itself, but enhances absorption of the others.

Signs and Symptoms of Unhealthy Hair

Everyone wants to have healthy looking hair. For some though it is an uphill task. Keeping your hair healthy takes a lot of dedication on your part. Other people claim to have healthy hair yet it is not. There are some signs to look out for to see if your hair is healthy.

For starters healthy hair does not fall out or break when combing. If your hair tends to break then there are two possibilities, you are using the wrong comb for your hair, or you are lacking the nutrients that make your hair strong so you will need to take in more fruits and vegetables.

The next sign of unhealthy hair is the color of the hair. If your hair appears washed out then your hair is not healthy. The color of your hair should be deep and shiny.

Therefore, you will also need to check your diet and the products that you are using on your hair. Go for organic rather than chemical based products. Organic products will ensure that your hair gets the nutrients that it requires.

Another symptom of unhealthy hair is dry or flaky scalp. Having dandruff on your head is not only itchy for you but also very unappealing. Mostly dandruff occurs from having dry dead skin on your head.

Low blood circulation on the scalp causes your skin to become dry and flaky. To avoid this ensure that you use products that are rich in vitamins that will ease blood circulation to your scalp such as coconut oil. Also look out for thinned hair for this could only mean that you are lacking certain vitamins.

In conclusion if you are having the above symptoms then you are having unhealthy hair and you will need to get professional advice on how to treat it.

Understanding Your Hair Rebonding

If you suffer from short, frizzy, and lack lustre hair, all hope is not lost in achieving the look you desire for your tresses. Hair rebonding as an answer to problems of dull, unmanageable hair. However, before you consider rebonding as an option, you need to understand exactly what the treatment entails.

The Process-

The rebonding process starts with the application of a cream softener or relaxant designed to break down the normal structure of your hair. This is followed by the application of keratin lotion and neutraliser which restructures your hair and makes it straight. The effects of rebonding last from 9 to 12 months and is one of the more expensive hair straightening treatments.

After the procedure, you are told not to wash your hair for three to four days, or use any hair accessories to bind it.
Rebonding is a harsh treatment for hair because of the chemicals that make it work. Consequently, it is crucial to look after your rebonded hair since it's especially weak and fragile at this stage, and even a simple action like brushing can cause damage.

So THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR FOR YOUR REBONDING IS THE PRODUCT USED.

IT MUST BE GENUINE AND REPUTED.

How to Care for Rebonded Hair-

Hair that has undergone rebonding should never be subject to

1. Hot water or even a warm water wash. Use only cold water on your hair.
2. Do not use heated flat irons and curling irons.
3. Avoid using a hair dryer. If you have to blow dry your hair do it on the cold air setting.
4. Conditioners are like life-giving nectar for your hair. Condition your hair generously and regularly, and use a leave in conditioner.
5. Occasionally use a clarifying shampoo that will clear out any residual products in your hair.
6. Avoid subjecting your hair to any other chemical treatment for at least six months after your rebonding treatment.

Five ways sleep works wonders for your beauty

Who doesn’t like a good night’s sleep? But with deadlines, work overload and stress, sleep is the last thing on our minds these days and sooner or later, sleep deprivation starts showing its effects on our health and overall well-being, including our skin and hair. While you may be more concerned about your health than your beauty, remember, your skin shows the first signs. It is important to catch up on beauty sleep if you want to look beautiful for the rest of your life. Here’s how sleep helps skin and hair.

Delays premature ageing of skin
Wrinkles, fine lines, crow’s feet – if you wish to keep them at bay, it is essential you sleep regularly. Since women’s skins are delicate than men’s, it becomes all the more important that they catch their beauty sleep. These days, wrinkles appear earlier in one’s late 20s as opposed to after 35-40 in earlier days. The fast-paced lifestyle has brought about several changes and sleep deprivation is one of them.Quality sleep can lead to ageing of skin. Therefore, make sure you get 7-8 hours of shut eye every night.

Prevents under-eye dark circles
Now this one is a no-brainer! Have sleepless nights too often? Get dark circles complimentary with it. The blood vessels under your eyes become easily visible through your skin when you do not sleep. These appear as dark circles. Puffy eyes is another problem for sleep deprived people. You can conceal dark circles with make-up or even home remedies but understand the root cause of it is most often lack of sleep.

Keeps you looking youthful
When you get adequate sleep, your skin feels fresh and young. This is because, it is not under any stress and the skin cells are repairing themselves at night. When you miss out on sleep, they do not get a chance to do so and you appear tired and older than you actually are.

Prevents hair loss
Yes, sleep deprivation is a factor for you losing your hair. You may not realise it but to maintain a full head of hair, you need to catch up on sleep. You cannot renew hair follicles in a stressed out state of mind. And if more hair follicles die than new ones produced, you can end up losing hair at a fast rate. If you are losing more than 100 strands of hair on a daily basis, it is a wake-up call to sleep right.

Helps your skin rejuvenate
Research has shown that people who do not sleep well have skin which cannot rejuvenate as quickly as others who do. Our skin is exposed several external and internal factors which hamper its recovery process such as sun exposure, stress, pollution, etc. If you miss out on sleep, you are further hampering your skin’s rejuvenation process making it weaker and less elastic.

So do not compromise on your beauty sleep. Also remember, binge sleeping over the weekend will not do you any good. You need to follow a consistent sleeping pattern for your skin and body to stay healthy. Sleeping too much can also have a negative effect on your skin and your face can end up looking puffy and swollen. So, get the right amount of shut-eye i.e. 7-8 hours.
